Join the First Maryland as we celebrate Maryland's 389th Birthday!  The 1MR will populate Pinkney Street, Hogshead and Waterfront warehouse. We'll be recruiting, making cartridges, drilling, and playing 18th century children's games
 
April 21-22 Revolutionary War Soldiers Re interment Camden, SC
The graves of 14 Revolutionary War soldiers were discovered and exhumed for study and proper reburial. Included are actual Maryland Troops. Honor Guard will perform an all night vigil with the coffins. On Saturday they will be borne on Caissons and an honor guard to an open field service at a local church. Then we will form an escort honor guard as the coffins are properly reburied on the battlefield.

The First Maryland will join The First Delaware in a parade and 18th century encampment celebrating 247 years of NOT being PA.!

June 16-18 Battle of Monmouth NJ
 This is the main Continental Line event of the year. The First Maryland will join the rest of Washington's army as they demonstrate how much they have learned from Baron Von Steuben. Fought in the sweltering heat of June 1778, this was the last major battle in the northern theater Battle of Monmouth NJ 
July 3-4 Independence Day Encampment- National Constitution Center-Independence Mall, Philadelphia, PA
Living history encampment. Celebrate the 245th Anniversary of the Declaration in front of Independence Hall. A paid unit event. Constitution Center

We will be encamped and drilling there a GREAT place to come meet us and learn about joining and reliving history. Musket drill and 18th century games for kids.

Come down  to The Maryland Veterans Museum at Patriot Park as we celebrate the crucial alliance with France which helped establish The United States! Encampment, demonstrations, food and music.

Experience what it was like during the Ten Crucial days that started with the crossing of the Delaware River on a freezing December 25-26. Watch as we cross the Delaware in Durham Boats just as they did on their way to attack Trenton and save the Revolution.
